The questions I get before someone buys.
Does this handle recurring billing?
Yes, via Stripe Billing. The form creates the subscription, hands off to Stripe Checkout, and listens to webhooks for payment events. You own the Stripe account - no platform fees on top of Stripe's normal rate.
What happens when a payment fails?
The dunning sequence kicks in: soft reminder on day 1 of failure, firm reminder on day 3, cancellation notice on day 7. All copy is customizable. Recovery rates typically 30-40% with this flow.
Can members manage their own subscription?
Yes. The member portal (built on Jotform) lets them update profile, change tier, pause, or cancel. Stripe Customer Portal integration handles the billing side if you want a prettier UI.
Is this overkill for a small membership?
The Base tier works for memberships under 100 members - no overkill, just the essentials. Scale up to Pro or Done-For-You when you cross the threshold where manual admin starts eating your week.
